EDIT: We are currently raising money that I am receiving directly. Most of the funds will be used to fulfill requests for physical donations through Givit, which is a not-for-profit charity based on 'good for good causes.' We also plan to help purchase food and clothing vouchers to hand out at evacuation centers and people in heavily damaged homes. We are also raising money through a GoFundMe account to assist me in travelling to Townsville to help with clean ups and check on my family (https://www.gofundme.com/manage/help-me-get-to-townsville I am happy to liaise with Givit or anyone at Change.Org if they wish to ensure that all funds are used for what is outlined in the request for donations.
