My friends, the time has come that we demand that the Mayor's Alliance nonprofit, with Jane Hoffman at the helm, be disbanded from oversight of our precious cats and dogs in NYC.

In February 2010, New York Animal Rights Alliance America got off the ground with back-to-back protests for eight years straight. Our group were the activists, adopters, fosters, volunteers, and transporters and many of us independent and nonprofit rescuers. We created a community of hundreds of thousands of people that contributed to the decline in the kill rate at New York Animal Control, and the Queens and Bronx shelters to now be on the table.  Later that year, Jane Hoffman would send out a memo to  all the rescues to forbid them from participating in our protests against the killing of animals at NY ACC.

In May 2011, Companion Animal Access Rescue Act was introduced to Albany. This piece of legislation would have allowed any 501c3 without violations to pull animals from NY ACC. But these two individuals, Ed Sayres of the ASPCA and Jane Hoffman from the Mayors Alliance WENT TO ALBANY AND LOBBIED AGAINST IT. Why? Because, as Nathan Winograd stated many years before, the ASPCA, Mayors Alliance and NY ACC are the three crime families of dog and cat sheltering here in NYC.

Jane Hoffman claimed that outside rescues would be detrimental to the future of dogs and cats that left the facility. So I have spent years amassing data on the rescues that currently pull. I even had a secret group for three years with the Mayors Alliance rescues and when I could not take it anymore (witnessing the wanton murder of cats and dogs by some rescues) I spoke out and was banned from my own DNA group and from Urgent Part II (a "friend" nonprofit of the Mayors Alliance).

Recently because I spoke out against a rescue that did not immediately pull a dog that they adopted out and was dumped back to death row by the adopter, I was viciously attacked publicly by a Mayors Alliance lackey, and that by doing so it would "hurt animals" at New York Animal Control. After all these years of amassing data on the bad behavior that lead to hundreds if not thousands of dead cats and dogs pulled by rescues, it now seems like a sad joke.

I had filed a criminal complaint a few years ago against two cat rescues in Staten Island for corruption and racketeering, as well as conversion of grant dollars (as receiving grant dollars for a cat for pulling and then dumping) which the Staten Island District Attorney ignored.  We will now set our sights on the Attorney General.

Because Jane Hoffman lobbied against CAARA and that we can expect Matthew Bershadker of ASPCA and Hoffman will AGAIN LOBBY AGAINST Companion Animal Protection Act (CAPA) in the NYC Council where it has been introduced, we need to more aggressively demand that Mayors Alliance be disbanded and the rescues made to apply for Maddie's Funds grants individually. The current system is that Jane Hoffman holds the dispersal power of those funds. She has abused this power by demanding silence by anyone who speaks out about poor practices, i.e., dumping and killing of pulled dogs and cats from New York Animal Control.

If you have any information regarding a rescue killing a dog or cat or dumping them (such as at Angels Gate) please contact me (845) 856 7366 and we will put our affidavits together and demand revolution of this corrupt racketeering cartel over our precious animals here in NYC. (Picture of a dog named Yaya that was wrongly put to death by a current mayors alliance rescue, affidavit pending.)

**Please do NOT support a rescue in NYC or anywhere that does not have a LIST OF ANIMALS ON THEIR WEBSITE that they have pulled and their current disposition (alive or dead and if killed, why).  Without that transparency, these precious cats and dogs fall into a black hole never to be seen again, along with your donations.
