The Kahikinui Project takes place on the island of Maui, where the Department of Hawaiian Homelands has approved this project where they will allow and outsider Jason Muise to come onto the land and kill 90% of the wildlife animals for his own profit. Instead of keeping this is project local to help support the local economy and people, Jason Muise has proposed not only to kill off the wildlife, but send the meat of these animals to the mainland to be processed and packaged by mainland company. Who gives him this right to take the forage fed animals off of the island and use it for his personal gain. He has stated that these wildlife animals are feral. They are not feral, they are part of Maui's natural habitat. If they go along with this project, they should at least keep the meat production local.
