Illegalize cutting of unwanted trees

Trees are vital to us and our environment. They provide oxygen, food, shelter, and support for us and for many other different animal species. Trees are also known to absorb air pollutants like nitrogen oxides and decrease temperature levels. Despite of its numerous advantages, more often than not, people see them as an obstacle in building and developing commercial establishments and residential houses. Some even consider unwanted or weed trees as a nuisance and a threat to public health and safety. To solve this, people often resort to different techniques to kill them through harmful chemicals or cut them down by using chainsaws and axes, which we believe is completely unnecessary.
As a solution, we would like to coordinate with the different environmental departments and organizations to completely ban the cutting of these unwanted trees especially in urban areas. We propose that unwanted trees should only be pruned and trimmed, and that services like offer these be more accessible to the public.
Let us stand up and speak for those who cannot so that, we, as well as the future generations can experience the benefits of these resources. Sign this petition now!
