Thank you for your support in urging the Board of Education to rewrite history books! Transparency in history books is the only way that future generations can become educated on the many injustices and inequalities that have been experienced by African Americans and other people of color. The petition is close to having 10,000 signatures currently. Emails are being sent to news organizations, senators, and representatives to garner additional support for this cause. Please feel free to share this petition and write to the Board of Education and other government officials to encourage change. Hopefully, we will be able to see the struggles and successes of African Americans and other people of color in our history books someday. Thank you.
