Tomorrow marks the 6 weeks anniversary of our son's assault. In many ways, the pain is just as visceral as the day it happened, in others we are able to distance ourselves from the grip of grief, and see a light at the end of this dark tunnel.

For every ONE person who laughed or cheered or participated in our son's pain and anguish, we have had THOUSANDS of voices who are praying, supporting and encouraging his healing. There is goodness in this world, and it heals our broken hearts.

My family and I simply cannot articulate the depth of our gratitude for all of the kind words and well wishes you have sent our way. We have read every single message. Your support means everything to us, especially our son.

The growth of this petition in such a short time is astounding (66k signatures and counting). We have come to realize this fight is no longer ours alone. We mourn alongside every parent, child and survivor of bullying and violence that has so bravely shared their story. We see you. We hear you. And we will continue to speak out on behalf of ALL victims.
