It is a common sight to see live chickens being transported in an upside down position on bicycles in Kolkata & I guess most other Indian cities too. In the course of their long painful journey through the pollution & heat of the city some chickens die of exhaustion. This kind of cruelty is not acceptable in our humane society & has to stop now. They need to find another more humane way to deal with this problem. 

Our young children & sensitive caring adults are exposed to this horror on a daily basis. This practice needs to stop now.  Our children are asking us  what we as responsible adults are doing to solve this problem. So we need to take action now.
