New DRD Minister

The previous Regional Development Minister Danny Kennedy MLA had indicated that his Department were waiting for the Planning Service to take decisions on the various development applications proposed for this area. There is a consultation tomorrow (Thursday 5th November) in The Waterfoot Hotel from 2pm organised by the applicant for a housing development on the Crecent Link/Clooney Road section of the roundabout. Hopefully people can come along and voice their opinions for the need for these safety measures to be added to the roundabout. Finally, as there is a new Regional Development Minister, the petition has been updated to reflect this. Hopefully we can get over the 1000 signatures and then we can present it to her.
