My mother, Rebecca Jean Beard was murdered by Paul Taylor March 2, 1986. She was buried in a shallow grave. Her body has never been found. Paul Taylor confessed to the murder in 1995. He is currently under review for parole and has been coming up for parole every 2 years. He is also serving time for two DWIs and Soliciting Capital murder. He has a lengthy criminal history that includes many years of alcohol and drug use among escaping while being in the county jail and also impersonating a police officer. I believe there is nothing that this man could offer our society. The meer thought of him walking the streets, as a free man, feels like a knife in my heart. My family has been through enough and we have to be re-victimized every 2 years. To relive my mothers murder is excruciatingly painful. We do not have her body, which Paul Taylor agreed to produce. We do not have a place to bring her flowers. Paul Taylor took away every possible memory I could have made with my mother. I, along with every signature on this petition, am requesting that Paul Taylor be denied Parole.
