Developer Redesigns Project Following Community Pressure

AMENDMENT COMING! Thanks to your voices and Supervisor Kathryn Barger’s advocacy, the developer has voluntarily redesigned the proposed project.
Key Changes:
- Reduced Height: Now lowered to a 3-story street frontage.
- Unit Count: Adjusted to 66 units.
- Parking: 75 off-street parking spaces provided.
While state laws (like SB 35 and density bonus mandates) limit how much the County can block housing projects, our collective pressure has contributed to a reduction in scale.
Community meeting: MAY 4 @ 6:30pm - Rosemont Middle School
The developer will present this new design and answer questions on May 4. This is our chance to see the new plans firsthand and ensure the County holds them to every remaining fire, building, and safety standard available.
Thank you for staying engaged - your signatures helped make this redesign happen!
Next Step: See you at the community meeting on May 4!
