We, the undersigned residents of the City and County of Denver, demand that Denver Public Schools create a Superintendent Search Hiring Committee made up of the seven BoE Directors and six community members. Community representation will be drawn from each of the five DPS districts and include: students, parents, teachers, community organizers, and higher education.

Furthermore, we demand that community representation on the Superintendent Search Hiring Committee be selected by the Denver Community Education Coalition in a transparent and Democratic process.
