Hundreds of Canada geese and their goslings have been removed from Denver parks and slaughtered, supposedly to feed Colorado's needy. If nothing else, is this safe? Even Denver Parks & Rec is questioning their original decision in a tweet that they later took down.The slaughter was done in the early morning hours when few were around. The slaughter was done when the birds were molting and couldn't escape. ALL DONE WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE PUBLIC. They've offered up nothing but lies about the process and won't even reveal where the carcasses are going. THE KILLING MUST STOP NOW AND NEVER BE DONE AGAIN.

This nightmare was headed up by Denver Parks and Rec's executive director, Scott Gilmore. He called it a "rodeo" and said it had to be done because the environment was  being damaged. Wrong, Scott.
