We have been making some incremental but positive process with Denver Public Works and the Department of Environmental Health by way of a Safe Routes to School infrastructure grant which [if accepted] will provide a proposed 1/2 mile of new sidewalks, 13 new ADA curb cuts, and 2 pedestrian islands in the vicinity of McAuliffe International school.

In order to keep up the momentum going will be looking towards the next step -- getting a coalition of community members [business owners, commuters, school administration, parents, senior residents, cyclists, walkers, transit riders] to participate in a larger more comprehensive traffic study. This will require a combined Park Hill community and city effort. Please be engaged and contribute as you can. We will keep you updated!
