The future of Irish fisheries is being put in jeopardy by Inland Fisheries Ireland, as they are leaving vital stream conservation projects in the hands of members of the public with no experience.

Money that could be put into developing streams is being spent on unneeded infrastructure projects under a failing National Strategy for Angling Development - which could cost over €3 million.

We are calling on the Government to intervene so that Inland Fisheries Ireland bring this conservation work back in-house.
