I just sent our petition urging Senator Van Hollen and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee which he chairs, to go all out for Doug Jones in his Alabama Senate race against the bigot, Roy Moore. The petition currently has 113 signatures from 23 states, the District of Columbia and three foreign countries. Coincidentally, I just got this fund-raising email from Senator Van Hollen. "It’s all hands on deck as we work to make 2018 a Democratic year in the United States Senate. December 12 is the first major test. In just 6 weeks Alabama voters will choose between our Democratic nominee Doug Jones and the deeply flawed, extremist Republican candidate, Roy Moore. In recent weeks Jones has dramatically closed the gap with Moore. This Senate seat is no longer in the bag for the GOP and national Republicans are panicking.
