This petition is personal to me.

My name is Avalon, and I’m a rape survivor. I started this petition because I believe the Democratic Party has a moral obligation not to nominate perpetrators of sexual violence to public office. 

Thanks to your support, this petition already has over 250 signatures.

Your support sends a message not only to Tara Reade, but to survivors of sexual violence everywhere, that we believe them and that their stories matter. 

Together I believe we have the power to pressure the Democratic Party into doing the right thing. 

Joe Biden must step down. 

In the era of #metoo and #timesup, Biden’s nomination is unacceptable.
