Yet another horse has died in relation to “the race that stops that nation.” Regal Monarch was just five years old, when he suffered from “a horror fall” three days before the race, and was killed. On average, a horse dies on Australian tracks, every 2.6 days. It’s time that we took a stand and decided that enough is enough, no more innocent lives can be lost for human entertainment.
