Unfortunately, for our dementia service users in Hertfordshire County Council it's time for us to share this petition again. Not only have Alzheimer's Society made a complete mess of our once loved dementia groups, but they also show signs of further destruction, decline and exclusion. We were promised our much loved dementia groups would continue to have the quality they had pre Alzheimers Society. However the worries that prompted this petition back in July 2024 have come to fruition. Even highly trained skilled experienced staff have left because they are not prepared to be part of policy changes. The damage that has been caused so far is disgraceful. No apologies or acceptance of the failures to deliver on the service that both Hertfordshire County Council and Alzheimer's Society promised has been made. This is public money being used to fund incompetence. PLEASE, if you care about this, statistically something you will most definitely be affected by in your lifetime, then sign this petition and share forward to others. If it can happen in Hertfordshire, that had one of the best dementia services in the UK then it can happen anywhere. Thank you from all of us in advance for your support ❤️ 
Just to make it clear, because of legalities, no individuals employed by the Alzheimer's Society or other dementia service providers in Hertfordshire have encouraged us to express these views.
