Call into NJT Board Vote - Tomorrow (Wed 4/10) @ 10 AM
Please call the NJ Transit Board of Directors meeting TOMORROW at 10 AM by dialing 1-800-346-7359 and using Conference Entry Code: 701939. Tell the NJT board you oppose the fare hike proposal (15% eff. 7/1/24 and 3% per year thereafter), especially since the agency refused to offer a virtual option for the March public hearings. Since the agency is indicating that it might not offer any hearings in future years for the proposed automatic future fare increases (3% per year), it is critical that we lobby the board to reject or modify the current proposal.

“TELEPHONE: Speakers who pre-register and participate by telephone will follow the in-person speakers. Telephone participants who did not pre-register in advance,
and queue to speak, will have their comments taken on a first-come-first-serve
basis thereafter.
Speakers participating by telephone may begin calling in at 9:30 A.M. to check in
with the call proctor. Once checked in, participants can press *1 to enter the queue
to provide public comments. There will be a brief tone to indicate you have
successfully entered the queue. Anyone joining the meeting will be on a 'Music
Hold' prior to the meeting.”
