1 more sleep until we place our candle at our front window frame tomorrow evening, to hold special symbolism: the bag if you bought one represents "thick skin" needed when facing a cancer diagnosis. The sand represents a firm foundation when feeling unsteady. The flame represents a beacon of light for survivors, those undergoing treatment, and loved ones lost. Keep stable on the ground. Put your Candle facing the road creating a glowing pathway for those who walk and drive through the evening, for us to share a moment to remember and reflect, as one with passers-byers. ​Your dedicated Candle of Hope to be lit at dusk to remember loved ones lost to Cancer.

This date has personal significance to me. It is the date my Dad was born. I want it to have significance to you each year too; allow yourself this Wednesday to acknowledge your healing journey in a special way. Together
