Story after story of heat-related illness & death in the news, with another brutal summer making its comeback.
As many of you know, I started this petition several years ago.
With the help of great folks at NBC for it's National coverage, and many other news outlets my husband came forward to share his story.
I soon learned there would be more, in fact, hundreds more.
Drivers and Warehouse workers began telling their stories. The silence was finally broken.
There has never been so much media attention exposing UPS workers’ lives until this petition was started.
Now, with the National Teamsters Contract starting, there is hope to get the protection they need from the deadly heat.
While the Teamsters negotiate for a good contract with heat protection, let's show them our support.
The Teamsters do not want to strike, but should they have no other option, please let them know they have the Public’s support. Let's get this done!
