Dripping Springs residents and business owners have until the end of TODAY, Saturday June 22nd, to provide input on what we DO and DON’T want along the 13 mile 290W corridor expansion from Oak Hill into Dripping.

Why is your email Important? TxDOT is reassessing their I-35 like expansion proposal along the 290W corridor from Circle Dr. down to the HEB in Dripping, stopping just before Rob Shelton Blvd. To what extent TxDOT moves the needle on their up-to 16 lane expansion, will be determined by the feedback and input they receive from the community by the end of TODAY.

We have collaborated with other groups in Dripping to help develop a plan that accomplishes the goals of TxDOT, but also honors the current residents. In conversations with various community leaders and transportation planners, one suggested solution is a six-lane divided highway with grass bioswale medians incorporating Michigan left turns, eliminating the need for overpasses/underpasses and access roads.

Submit your comments to US290W@txdotaustin.com by today, Saturday June 22nd.
