The petition to ban foreclosures and evictions when social security payments are interrupted only needs 18 more signatures to get it in front of the Senate Minority Leader, Charles Schumer (D-NY). Please share the online petition with as many people as you can!
Right now, we have 82 signatures. When we reach 100, Charles Schumer will receive notice of the petition and we will follow up with him to make sure our voice is heard.
This week, emails were sent to all major senior advocacy groups asking for support. Our goal is to get their help acquiring signatures.
