A really important week ahead for our community.

Six motions were raised at the recent town council meeting — and all were passed.

These will now be taken forward to a full council meeting today as The Town council meets again to discuss these further at the public meeting.

While not all decisions sit at Town Council level, the message from residents couldn’t be clearer — the strength of feeling in this community truly matters.

Also Stroud District Council meets this Thursday where further decisions will be made about the future of the Lido and their fortnightly update on progress will then be made available.

We all care deeply about this space — and we’re hopeful to see meaningful progress that keeps Stroud swimming this summer and for years to come.

On the agenda are also various options for the refurbishment of Stratford Park Leisure Centre with various options for upgrade including option 3 - a 10m total refurbishment.
