I am writing to update you on our progress.  It is slow going but - I am paraphrasing from the communication with Councillor Jeff Bateman - "the Ministry of Environment has been on site in recent weeks with District Parks and the developer (Verity Construction Ltd)...MOE is working with the developer/owner on riparian requirements for the property and we will learn more about it's investigations in time....the area was visited with the Cedar Park Terrace neighbours and Councillors Pearson, Beddows and Lajeunesse in January.  The District staff and Council are aware and will stay on it.....Anyone is welcome to write to council@sooke.ca with a cc to info@sooke.ca to ensure it is in the public record."
