Update on Elva’s RCVS case 💔🐾

I’ve now had confirmation from the RCVS that Elva’s case has been formally reopened for review by the Head of Professional Conduct and the Chairman of the Preliminary Investigation Committee (PIC).
The case was originally closed at Stage 1, but after I raised serious concerns about missing evidence, contradictions, and undisclosed records, it has now been reopened for a full review.
I’ve already provided every single piece of evidence I have, and the review is now fully in their hands.
For anyone who’s followed this journey, these are the issues that pushed the case back open:
The wrong vet was investigated in the original decision
Late‑found abdominal scan videos showing Elva collapsed and deteriorating were not assessed
Mandatory clinical records are missing, including:
surgical start time
anaesthetic chart
deterioration notes
escalation notes
MDT notes
time‑of‑death documentation
complete ultrasound records
The written timeline contradicts the video evidence
Key evidence was only disclosed after I started digging and requesting records
The vet contacted the VDS only once I began challenging the timeline and asking for missing documentation
I’m not saying anything beyond the facts: There were serious omissions, contradictions, and missing records, and now the RCVS is reviewing the case properly.
I just want the truth about what happened to Elva. Nothing more, nothing less. 💔🐾
