📣 UPDATE: My CMA Consultation Response Has Been Submitted
Today I formally submitted my consultation response to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) as part of their investigation into the UK veterinary market.
Elva’s story — her 9-hour wait for emergency surgery, the financial coercion, the missing records, the retroactive edits, the unlicensed drug, and the lack of escalation — is now part of the official record.
I’ve asked the CMA to recommend:
Mandatory written treatment plans and itemised bills
Transparent pricing and consent safeguards
Oversight of clinical records and retroactive edits
Regulation of corporate veterinary chains
Independent complaint escalation
Protection for families in crisis
📌 I can provide further evidence if required — and I know I’m not alone. If you’ve experienced similar harm, I invite you to come forward. Your voice matters.
This is for Elva. For every family who’s been left in the dark. For dignity, truth, and systemic change.
