After several months of back and forth emails and dead ends I was finally able to have a face-to-face meeting with Rep. Cortez and the district engineer from TxDot! I feel the meeting went very well! The lead engineer brought up some options/ideas that he is going to discuss with his team about implementing and was open to hearing thoughts from me. I will continue to be in contact with his department and update as more information comes up. Thank you for all your support and signing this petition to bring awareness to the issue.
