Updates regarding the intersection of Hwy 41 and Kamm Road.

The Marinette County Board has plans to possibly discuss the intersection at an upcoming meeting and to invite WisDOT to the Meeting. Sheriff Randy Miller brought up the intersection at the last board meeting and the public petition. He mentioned the possibility of the board meeting with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. He mentioned at the meeting that they increase patrol around this area and doing small steps for the time being until a bigger action can be taken. Thank you, Sheriff- Randy Miller, for bringing this to the attention of the County Board.

Wimberger reports that he met with the Northeast Regional Director today to help tackle the issue and work together towards safety concerns.

Craig Thompson the Secretary of the Department of Transporation used the word "soon" on November 10th in response to the petition from the public, but with more reaching out to WisDOT like Senator - Eric Wimberger - soon may be even sooner!
