On Thursday January 16, representatives from BPD and the company selling these surveillance devices will be in Bartlesville giving a one-sided presentation about why these devices are not a problem, why they’re so awesome, and how they will keep you safe.

I requested an opportunity to share at the event and explain why they are a problem, but that was not permitted. Instead the police department appears to be taking only prescreened questions at this event.

Please attend if you are able just to see how one sided this is likely to be. If they do take questions from the audience in person, please readily ask lots of questions!
