Monday June 22, 2026: The RCM announced that "Katharine Montpetit of Rubin & Co. LLP has been retained to lead an independent investigation into allegations of historical sexual abuse at the Toronto campus of the Royal Conservatory of Music. She begins her work this week." LINK HERE

"Anyone with any information or knowledge that would be relevant to any historical or current sexual abuse at the RCM,  Rubin & Co. LLP has set up a dedicated email address for the investigation, rcm@rubinandco.ca, should you wish to contact Ms. Montpetit with information relevant to her investigation."

They have promised it will be an independent investigation. Please continue to sign this petition and support me and other RCM survivors in demanding that the entire investigation be made public. The staff, students, parents, donors and the public have a right to know what went on at that school for decades. The victims and survivors need their experiences corroborated and heard. The perpetrators and enablers need to be held responsible.
