this petition has been primarily focused on Gaza, however, they are not the only people suffering immensely right now.
it's equally as important to keep eyes on Sudan. the paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces ( RSF ) siezed control over the city of el-Fasher – after months of siege, violence, and blockade.
the Sudanese government says that 2,000 civilians have been killed, meanwhile RSF soldiers brag about massacring over 7,000 people. this includes roughly 500 doctors, nurses, & patients in the Saudi Maternity Hospital.
hundreds of thousands of civilians in el-Fasher face a complete internet blackout and famine conditions.
out of the masses who fled to the nearby town of Tawila, 60,000 are still unaccounted for – many of whom are believed to be dead. those who survived describe harrowing encounters with RSF militias.
these encounters include people being separated by gender, age, or perceived ethnic identity. survivors describe executions based on ethnicity, along with people being held for ransom.
include Sudan in your advocacy & activism.
boycott the UAE, who funds the RSF for personal benefit.
