There are still many sticking points for the ceasefire Trump has been talking about. The most important being the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. Israel rejects the observation and the demand of Hamas to allow the UN and other humanitarian organisations to distribute food and aid. 

Israel wants to maintain control over the process through the GHF. The same organisation meant to kill people, systematically starve and displace innocent Palestinians. And where soldiers have admitted to shooting at unarmed civilians. 

Before leaving for Washington yesterday (08/07/25) Netanyahu instructed the army to come up with a plan to move - forcibly - one million people from Gaza City and Northern Gaza to the South by flooding the area with aid distributed exclusively through that organisation. 

Keep in mind, most of the South of Gaza is under evacuation orders.
