Rumeysa Ozturk and other students have had their visas revoked due to expressing their opinions. This is a blatant violation of freedom of speech, and in this case it is wrong to call disagreement with Israel's government treatment and policy towards innocent Palestinians antisemitic. Many Jewish people agree that Israel has been far in the wrong. 

Like others, she was taken into custodywithout notice or due process of any kind. Our country needs to rise above this disturbing practice. This is not only about Rumeysa Ozturk,  but about all students who dare to express their beliefs. A student's voiced opinion should be their right, not a basis for punitive measures that disrupt their educational journey and their entire life and family relationships. 

We demand that policymakers and law enforcement authorities  obey our Constitution and  return these students to campus and restore their student visas immediately.
