It's both ridiculous and hurtful that Murdoch and his media empire continue to generalize the youth as "bad with tech" based on the actions of a tiny minority—a handful of "bad eggs" that don't represent the majority. This is the same kind of harmful generalization we’ve seen before. Just like how they once painted all Muslims as dangerous after a few Jihad attacks, leading to unacceptable murders and war crimes in majority Muslim nations.

But let’s not forget the powerful words of Muhammad Ali, who reminded the world that "Islam is a religion of peace" and "does not promote terrorism or killing people." He boldly stated that those who caused destruction were not true Muslims but racist fanatics misusing the name of Islam. Ali's stance cooled down the accusations and even earned him ovations from world leaders.

We’re facing a similar situation today. Murdoch’s media machine is spreading fear, convincing people that young people can’t handle social media, pushing for drastic measures like banning under-16s from these platforms. What’s even worse is that people are actually listening to them, which is why our campaign exists.

We’ve seen where this kind of dangerous rhetoric can lead, and we’re not going to stand by and let it happen again. History has taught us that harmful generalizations can lead to dangerous consequences. We’re here to stop this before it even begins. Let’s learn from the past and make sure we’re not repeating the same mistakes. Together, we can ensure that common sense prevails over fearmongering.
