Petition updateDemand that 'The Cut' Provides a Real Update on Lucky the Cat's SituationYou should know where your money is going!

I started a petition in September for a cat in distress named Lucky, who was being abused, as detailed in an article from The Cut magazine. Despite gathering over 50,000 signatures and receiving daily emails, they did not respond. There was no confirmation regarding her well-being or care, and we, as a community, are still extremely upset and concerned for her.

Since then, I must admit that I gave up. I never heard back, despite emailing hundreds of times. I also investigated using the donation money from this petition to potentially hire a private investigator or, at the very least, donate to senior cats in need of rehoming from similar situations. However, when I contacted Change.org, they informed me that the donation money wasn't used towards the actual cause. I was shocked. I will provide a screenshot as evidence.

From now on, I encourage you to reconsider using Change.org as a platform if you donate to a cause. They do not allocate the money correctly; it goes to their organization and employees. They claim it's for promoting the petition, but I don't see how that is more helpful than using the money for the actual charity.

I apologize for my delayed update. I've been dealing with a lot of life changes and felt extremely defeated.

Has anyone heard any updates on Lucky? I haven't, and I tried emailing The Cut again, but, of course, they don’t seem to care. Thank you for everyone’s support; I appreciate all of you.
