Hi everybody,

Happy Pride!!  This upcoming Monday, June 16th, will be the first Rhode Island Interscholastic League meeting since the one we disrupted in March.  We plan to show up once again to send the message to RIIL that we won't accept the abandonment of trans and gender diverse youth athletes.

Please show up at 12:45 pm at the RIIL office (875 Centerville Rd Building 3, Warwick, RI 02886).  We will make our voices heard as committee members arrive to the meeting and pack the room to convince RIIL to change the policy back.  The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association has stood by its trans youth athletes.  The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference has stayed strong in its commitment to the participation of all youth.  There is absolutely no reason that we should have less courage on this issue than our neighbors to the north and west -- join us to show RIIL that Rhode Island is a place that supports and respects all youth!
