As we approach 100 signatures, I want to thank you for your support for our fight against scammers on Facebook.

I also want to give you some good news.  Consumer Reports is running a petition to require banks to refund customers who are victims of scams. This is an important reform that will protect victims from the recovery scammers that thrive on Facebook and other social media platforms. It will also lead to serious internal controls on the part of the banks that will make it very difficult for scammers to launder their money through American banks.

This is a big deal and I encourage you all to sign their petition and contact the CFPB and your government representatives and let them know that these protections are needed.
