Thank you so much everyone for your support. We still have more work to do so that we get enough signatures to get Sutherland Shire Council to listen to the residents.

We acknowledge the critical importance of Flood Studies and that it is an extremely complex task.  But there are some issues with the current modelling that suggest that there are properties that should not have been listed as flood affected.  This is causing concern about people  receiving significantly increased insurance premiums, since publication of the current Draft Overland Flood Maps,

Just want these maps removed until the revised maps using the less conservative modelling are finalised.

So can you please share the petition, talk to your neighbours so that we can get this resolved.
