Therefore, we need more robust legal frameworks and stricter penalties for those found guilty of animal cruelty in Malaysia—acts that infringe not only on the dignity of the animals but also mar our society’s moral fabric.

Moreover, public education on the importance of reporting such cases to relevant authorities and not taking the law into one's own hands is crucial. When people think they can deal with these situations themselves, it often results in grievous harm to the animals and no justice served. Dangerous myths about animals, such as strays being dangerous or diseased, also need to be dispelled through comprehensive awareness campaigns.

We must push for a fully engaged enforcement of Malaysia's animal protection laws, with significant penalties for violators, including substantial fines, imprisonment, or community service. Ensuring quick investigations and due process can assure citizens that justice will be served without vigilante actions.
