Meet Mickey. Just look at his smile!

Mickey was a procedure training dog. He was used for practicing ultra sounds, giving tablets, taking blood, applying wound dressings and putting in drips. He was due to be killed at the end of his “use” but was rescued just prior to his scheduled demise. You will likely have heard of the atrocities uncovered within the greyhound racing industry – the live baiting, the “wastage” and the mass burials - but did you know there is yet another, lesser known, cruelty that these animals are subjected to?
