Hello All,

On December 19, 2020, an article, YouTube must remove videos of animal cruelty, says charity, by The Guardian was written addressing the issues of cat violence videos on YouTube. While it was good that a news outlet finally reported on something so serious as this, I felt that more could have been said about how terribly YouTube has dealt with this problem. So, I first emailed the writer of the article, but unfortunately, received an automatic message back that he was no longer working for the newspaper, then I emailed another journalist who also wrote about animal welfare matters. Unfortunately, she has not responded back. I waited to inform you guys of this because I wanted to give a grace period for the latter. But seeing as this person has not replied, I'm asking that we all write to The Guardian demanding that they expose YouTube's continued failure to live up to their community guidelines and promise of wiping clean animal cruelty videos from their site. There's power in numbers. We need to expose YouTube for aiding and abetting in animal cruelty.

Here is the article: https://www.theguardian.com/.../youtube-https://www.theguardian.com/.../youtube-must-remove....must-remove....
