More evidence regarding YouTube's negligence of animal cruelty videos has come out. Please read the post on our FB announcement page. It should be at the very top. Below is the letter to YouTube but with a revised title, "#AnswerUsYoutube" in solidarity with those on Twitter who are campaigning for the same thing as us:

Hello,
My name is [insert name] I am a resident of [state], and I am demanding that you take REAL action against animal abuse on YouTube.
You have failed to meet your own community standards by aiding in animal abuse when you do not take action against it. You constantly commit 3 offenses: 1) there is no response and the images are not removed, 2) they are taken down but the channels/accounts that posted them are not removed, and 3) more disturbingly, a restoration of the violent video.
Please understand that people are currently posting animal cruelty videos for likes and views and when you do not remove these videos and those who posted them, you are impressing upon people that these images are normal and benign. You are killing more animals when you do this and your hands become bloodier with each view, like, and share, these videos get.
I implore you to respond to these problems in a meaningful way:
1) Take a REAL interest in keeping up community standards by caring when people report Animal Cruelty videos to you
2) Establish a task force of real people dedicated to removing these videos and these abusers from your site
3) Develop a way to permanently ban these animal abusers
4) Implement an "Animal Abuse" button for channels/accounts and not just videos to decrease the repeated trauma reporters go through when clicking through each and every one of these videos.
Attached is a petition of over 382k signatures demanding change from you.
In addition, please read these posts, especially the one pinned at the top about your negligence.
Youtube, please send your response to thevoicelesspeakforever@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
