Hi, friends! 

If you haven’t seen Russo’s presentation yet, brace yourself! There’s not much to see. I’ve attached his plan so you can take a look. It's quite bureaucratic. 

Tonight is a pivotal moment. The school board will begin reviewing Russo’s plan and vote on the budget that would bring it to life. This is our chance to speak up. We must urge the board not to approve this budget as-is and instead advocate for what our students and teachers truly need, which is essentially the current model that’s been working. 

What’s most frustrating? The glaring lack of transparency and the near-silence from Russo and the board, with the exception of Jayson Blake and Carol Beth Litkouhi, who have been refreshingly responsive and supportive.

If you can attend tonight’s board meeting, please show up! We need voices in the room.

At the very least, please take a moment to contact the board and ask them to reject Russo’s budget unless it undergoes significant changes.
