Had a little glimmer of hope that Evri were going to do the right thing this morning!
A guy from head office called as his colleague who had been ‘looking after’ me isn’t in today.
“I’ve read through the notes, and I can see that my colleagues have all been missing the point. They are referring you back to the retailer, as that is who your contract is with, but you are saying that the parcel our driver took wasn’t an Evri parcel as it was delivered safely by Royal Mail half an hour before our driver came. Is that correct?”
YES! Finally, someone who can read an email. Praise the Lord.
“Tracey, I need to speak to someone about what we can do here as I want to get you refunded”
WOW! It’s a miracle!
But the story changed on the second call ☹️
“Tracey, because this has been referred to the police and they weren’t helpful, I am bound by GDPR so you will need to email in to our legal team. You’ll find the email address for head office, just put FAO legal team on your email”.
But the police WERE helpful! But they couldn’t act because Evri took 3 weeks to provide the driver’s full name and address
So back to square one then! ♀️
