It’s a cold Saturday morning here, and I just opened the page and saw 268 signatures. I had to stop and sit with that number for a moment. 268 people. Thank you — from the quiet, grateful part of me that still can’t quite believe this many of you chose to stand here with us.

Every time the number moves up, I feel a little less alone in this. 268 names mean 268 people took a few seconds to read, to feel something, and to say “this matters.” That’s not small. That’s real. I’m deeply thankful for each one of you.

This petition started from one family’s pain, but it’s slowly becoming something bigger — a shared space where many of us can quietly say: “I’ve worried about this too.” “I’ve waited for answers that never came.” “I want the people we love to be safer in hospitals.”

268 of us are already in that space together. That feels important.
