Thanks for everyone's support, we've reached over 400 signers in just a few days. Your voices are being heard! Several of us presented at the City Council meeting and they were all aware of the petition. We've launched the www.savelafayettetrees.org site (please visit it) to also help coordinate our efforts. News outlets have been calling me asking for more information. Keep your eyes peeled, and I'll add articles (good or bad) to the website. We're preparing for PG&E to use their substantial PR firepower to scare, divide and misinform Lafayette residents. We'll be working to make sure people know the facts -- YOU DO NOT NEED TO SIGN A TREE CUTTING AGREEMENT with PG&E. The law is on your side...if you have a tree on your property, you do not need to do anything, simply and respectfully turn them away. More info to come!
