Closing the Petition – Merger Officially Completed

Dear Supporters,

I am writing to share a major update regarding our petition, Demand Paramount Skydance to halt the merger/acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery, and to announce that I am officially closing this petition.

Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance have officially merged to form Skydance Corporation.

With this corporate union now complete, a massive portfolio of iconic entertainment, news, and streaming brands have been brought together under one single parent company, including:

• DC Studios

• Nickelodeon

• Cartoon Network

• CNN

• CBS

• HBO

• Paramount+

Because the acquisition has been finalized and the new corporation is established, our goal to halt the merger is no longer actionable. Therefore, this petition is now closed.

I want to extend a massive thank you to each and every one of our 249 supporters who signed and shared this campaign. While the outcome wasn't what we originally fought for, your signatures sent a powerful message about public concern over media consolidation and the preservation of our favorite animation networks, news outlets, and entertainment brands.
