Looks like we need to politely correct this person who is spreading LIES about Ronnie Long! Gregg Stahl is commenting LIES on the Charlotte Observer article from yesterday.

Here is an example of what to respond to him with, just put it in your own words.
**Gregg Stahl – if you listened to the most recent argument in the Fourth Circuit, you would know that evidence was withheld and testimony offered was false. The State for the first time acknowledged these things while also arguing that it would not have changed the outcome and, although it said the testimony was perhaps misleading but not false, several judges rightfully pointed out that it was false.
All these court reviews you point to relied on arguments from the State that materials were not withheld. The State’s about face on this should be deeply disturbing to anyone interested in justice. Shouldn’t State prosecutors tell the truth? Why did they not tell the truth until a hearing by the full Fourth Circuit? And what vote are you referring to by the Innocence Commission? If you were familiar with the case, you’d know it was never presented to the Commission. Your statement is false. Every case presented to the Commission is posted on its website.
Perhaps your view is slanted. Are you the same Gregg Stahl who was Director of Government Relations for the N.C. Sheriff’s Association? You are running through talking points without knowing the facts. The Cabarrus County Sheriff in 1976 testified that he struck people from the jury roles provided to him by the Jury Commission Chairman before jurors were summonsed for my husband’s case. Was he lying under oath? Because this conduct seriously undermines a system where law enforcement is not supposed to play a role in jury selection. The sworn testimony also says the Police Chief and deputies struck jurors from the list.
