Just got back from the town council meeting. In short, they were very open to hearing about the community desire for the library to be reopened, and in fact, they committed funding to begin initial repairs to be completed this year. This will at least get the downstairs floor functional again, with the aim for full repairs and staffing to happen over the course of next year. The council is now looking into hiring someone to work the children's room, and to institute some reading programs and possibly add to the community center as well.

So thrilled that the kids of this township will soon have a place to learn and play - we will continue to show up and make sure things move along - the support from everyone here makes a difference!
